Wild Iris is a domestic violence prevention and intervention center in California. For their website Wild Iris had some specific requirements.
One of them was a way for visitors to “escape to safety” quickly if they were fearful that seeking help could put them in danger.
Another was making sure the new design incorporated the look and feel, logo and colors they were already using in their printed materials.
But most important was ensuring that their content was clear, easy to understand and easy to find.
Over the years, their mission and services offered had expanded but their website had never been updated to reflect those changes. I worked with them to help develop program information and incorporate it into the site logically.
