Rogue River Watershed Council in Medford Oregon was looking to update and redesign their existing website with a stronger focus on projects and increased ability to receive donations and event associated payments through the payment portal.
It was important that they be able to make updates to the site themselves.
To facilitate this, I created a projects custom post type. This gave them a customized admin page to enter new projects as they developed. It is easier to use since there are custom fields which are clearly labeled so that it is easy to see what content to put where.
We were also able to integrate the site with their 3rd party customer relations software. Records of donations are submitted directly into the CRS.
The new site has simpler navigation and has more photos. It also works well on phones.
