Shelter One, located in Grants Pass Oregon, designs and manufactures custom equipment shelters. An important function of the site redesign was to quickly show visitors the wide range of shelter types and the many applications the shelters can be used for. With this goal in mind, the site’s home page features a photo gallery of shelter types and a list of potential applications for use.
Site visitors can also view photos of purpose built shelters by function. This helps visitors to “see” that Shelter One has the capability to provide the shelter for their specific needs.
Look and feel was important too. The palette is the yellow/gold and black from the existing company logo. A metal grid background texture adds a masculine feel.
There are 2 forms on the site a details “Request A Custom Quote” and a much simpler general contact form. The detailed custom quote form simplifies and jump starts communication for new orders. Customers can specify exactly what they need and Shelter One has the details needed to provide quick, accurate project quotes without a lot of back and forth.
The site is easy to navigate and works well on phones.
