AMC Parts Store is a popular and busy online store. They’ve been around awhile but, when they first contacted me,the site had not had regular maintenance. The theme was not mobile-friendly and used out-dated code. There are also almost no words on the home page which means nothing for the search engines to read
I updated the old theme with a light-weight mobile-friendly one while keeping a similar look and feel which they liked.
More important, I added text to the home page which made it easier for both visitor and search engine to instantly tell what the site is about.
I applied basic search optimization on all pages as well as made suggestions on how they further optimize the site themselves. They are willing and able to manage the site; like many, they just needed help in knowing what exactly to do.
It’s early days yet. So far, the site is running smoother and faster and they don’t have to worry about future updates breaking the site because of old code. And, hopefully, the SEO and improved site organization will lead to more customers and more sales.
We are still getting used to the site, but seems to be running much better!! Thank you again!
